A fork of vilicvane's text-to-speech plugin for Cordova, with what the original lacked: choosing a voice on iOS and Android, setting the pitch and queueing new lines instead of cutting off the previous one. Without a language given, the plugin uses the device's.
I use it myself in Keuze Roulette, where the wheel speaks the result. In 2021 it was added to awesome-cordova-plugins. The latest release is 0.5.3, from October 2023. I stopped maintaining it after moving to React Native. It still sees more than seven thousand npm downloads a month (October 2026).
