BackaDB is a Docker container that makes automated backups of MySQL and MariaDB databases. It is configured through environment variables and then runs on a cron schedule.
Dumps go to local storage, S3 or Minio, Google Drive or NextCloud and can be encrypted with a password. An HTTP endpoint reports the status to Uptime Kuma. Old backups are cleaned up by a retention strategy, including grandfather-father-son.
